FINANCIAL CONTROLLER - MANUFACTURING

£75,000 to £100,000 + Good Bonus + Benefits

THE OPPORTUNITY:
We're excited to be exclusively partnering with an innovative and progressive manufacturing business that is on track to achieve £100m valuation in the next 2 years. To achieve their objective, they've embarked on an aggressive approach to; accelerate international organic growth, acquire complementary businesses and to increase investment into new NPD.
They're now seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the Senior Leadership Team who will report directly to the shareholders. This role will seat as No.1 in Finance and will be responsible for leading the existing finance team of 4 and overseeing day to day finance.
As Financial Controller, you'll be leading on a number of key projects such as; migration to D365, Implementation of PowerBI, bringing the Management Accounts inhouse from the partnering accountancy firm, implementation of financial and risk controls, Private Equity Event and advising on acquisition targets as well as post acquisition integration.
This role would suit a highly driven individual who is looking to join a fast paced and commercial business which will embrace the personal development of the individual to rapidly grow from Financial Controller to Finance Director.
FINANNCIAL CONTROLLER PERSON SPECIFICATION:
Essential Experience
- Must be currently operating as either No.1 or No.2 in Finance in a role such as; Financial Controller, Finance Manager, Finance Director or similar.
- Key experiences required;
- Managed the Full P&L for a business with T/O of £10m to £70m which is either privately owned or is backed by a Private Equity Partner
- Current or Historic experience of working in a Manufacturing or Engineering business
- Producing Management Accounts and Full Board Packs
- Providing Finance Business Partnering support to key departments
- FP&A and implementing risk controls.
- Open to considering ACCA, CIMA, ACA or candidates who are Qualified by Experience
Desirable Experience
- Experienced with Export Sales and Associated Tax
- Migration of an ERP System
- Acquisition due diligence and post-Acquisition integration
- Private Equity Reporting
