Leeds Hybrid Working

We're seeking an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join an established team in Leeds. As a key member of our underwriting department, you'll assess and price commercial risks while building strong relationships with their broker network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite commercial insurance risks
- Make sound underwriting decisions within delegated authority
- Develop and maintain broker relationships
- Contribute to the team's growth and profitability targets
Requirements:
- Proven commercial underwriting experience - it would be ideal if you have experience in SME commercial combined policies
- Strong technical insurance knowledge
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Effective communication and negotiation abilities
- It is preferable to have CII qualifications (or working towards)
