What is Recruitment?

The Recruitment Process:

Job Analysis is the first step, at Get Recruited we will clearly define the job requirements, responsibilities, qualifications and skills needed for the position. This information is used to create an accurate and detailed job description.

Sourcing Candidates is next, our recruiters will first look in our internal database, and then they will source candidates through other channels such as job boards, networks, referrals, LinkedIn etc.

Once candidates have applied, they will be screened by our recruiters here at Get Recruited. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and requirements for the role will be placed on a shortlist.

These shortlisted candidates will then speak to our recruiters, learn more about the role, talk about their skills and experience.

Once both the recruiter and the candidate are happy, their CV will be sent over to the company that is hiring, if they are happy with the candidate an interview will be arranged.

Before any interviews our recruiters here at Get Recruited ensure to brief each candidate fully, on things such as who will be interviewing them, what their role is in the company, tips on how to answer tricky questions, where the interview will be held etc. They make sure each candidate is prepared and ready to perform at their best in the interview.

Based on the interview, successful candidates will be called with the good news and presented with a job offer.

Once the candidate accepts the job offer, the onboarding process can begin.

With each application you make, alter the copy of your CV to match the specific job you are applying for. Highlight the skills, experiences and accomplishments that are the most relevant to the role.

Prepare:

Along with one of our recruiters at Get Recruited helping you with interview preparations, you will need to prepare in your own time. Research the company and role, practice answering common interview questions and prepare some questions to ask the interviewer.

Following up:

After your interview, be sure to send a thank you email to the interviewer(s), reiterating your interest and thanking them for their time. At Get Recruited our recruiters will be touching base with the interviewers and yourself so they can always pass along your message of gratitude and interest.
