Get Recruited is working closely with a highly reputable Top Law Firm who is looking for an experienced Financial Controller.
As the Senior Management Accountant / Financial Controller, you'll be working in partnership with the Finance Director who will closely mentor you to enable you to continually develop your career. The role includes leading a team of Legal Cashiers, producing Management Accounts, Creating Cashflow Forecasts, Budget Management, Budget Variance Analysis and Overseeing Year End Accounts.

THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT / FINANCIAL CONTROLLER ROLE:
- Working closely with the Finance Director who will mentor and support you to enhance your career with the firm.
- Leading and developing a team of Legal Cashiers to ensure that work is produce to a high standard.
- Preparing the Management Accounts to a high standard in advance of the board meetings
- Producing detail financial reporting and business reports
- Detailed analysis of budgets, spend and variance.
- Producing accurate cash flow forecasts
- KPI reporting, identifying business trends and making recommendations.
- Overseeing Statutory accounts
- Working collaboratively with External Accountants on audits
THE PERSON:
- Must have experience as a Senior Management Accountant / Financial Controller or similar role, such as; Finance Manager, of Head of Finance
- ACCA, ACA, OR CIMA qualified
- High Grades at School / College / University is essential
- Experience within a Law Firm / Legal Firm or within a professional services firm would be a significant advantage, but is not essential.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is essential.
- A driven individual who is keen to grow with a rapidly expanding firm
