    MARKETING AND EVENTS MANAGER - PERMANENT

    HAYES - HEATHROW

    £32,000

    THE OPPORTUNITY:

    My client, a leading Financial Institution are recruiting for a Marketing and Events Manager to join their buzzing office in Hayes, near Heathrow.

    With over 11,000 current members and growing, our client provides advice and support on lending and saving options for their members.

    They are seeking an energetic and confident, well connected individual to join their expanding team to build, manage and nurture relationships to support the growth the company associates and members portfolio.

    This is a new role, so you will have the freedom to make it your own!

    You will be generating new leads through networking and digital marketing via social media, promoting and drumming up excitement about the brand and promoting the services.

    THE ROLE:

    Events:

    • Networking with a portfolio of public and private sector associations in partnership with the company
    • Planning and delivering outreach events across the UK with some occasional international travel - between 10 and up to 200 attendees
    • Generate new member and associate leads from promotional events
    • Develop and nurture business contacts

    Marketing:

    • Leading and supporting in the creation of marketing strategies to reach target audiences
    • Responsible for all company social media coverage
    • Working with the printing and design team to develop promotional material and literature - hard copies and digital/ social media campaigns
    • Curating newsletters, mail-outs and other marketing material to clients.
    • Monitor and report against insights gained from market research
    • Use digital marketing tools such as: Mailchimp, Essendex, Google Adword, Survey Monkey etc
    • Use of CRM - Hubspot

    THE PERSON:

    • Marketing and/or Business-related degree - essential
    • Previous experience in B2B sales within marketing
    • Knowledge and understanding of digital marketing
    • Confident delivering promotional presentations to large audiences up to 200 delegates
    • Driven and determined individual
    • Excellent customer service/ care skills
    • Competent in MS packages - Word, Excel and Outlook
