JUNIOR CONFERENCE PRODUCER

We are recruiting for an engineering and scientific organization dedicated to advancing innovation, research, and collaboration within the industry. As a Junior Conference Producer, you will play a vital role in shaping the success of the events and driving meaningful engagement among attendees.
THE ROLE:
- Conduct comprehensive research on emerging trends, breakthroughs, and key topics within the engineering and scientific fields.
- Identify and invite speakers, researchers, and industry leaders to participate in events.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing, operations and sales.
- Writing blog content, speaker interview questions, marketing copy, and social media posts to engage target audience.
- Manage event timelines, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure events run smoothly and according to schedule.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, collect feedback, and use insights to drive improvements for future conferences.
- Manage budget for speaker expenses.
- Stay updated on the latest engineering and scientific advancements, industry publications, and competitor events to bring innovative ideas.
THE PERSON:
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of engineering and scientific concepts, with a genuine interest in the field.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills to identify relevant topics and industry trends.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with speakers, vendors, and attendees.
- Must have experience within a Junior Conference Producer, Conference Producer, Graduate Conference Producer, Events Manager, Researcher or similar role.
