Get Recruited are currently supporting a leading office supplies company based in Stevenage who are seeking a Business Development Executive to join their expanding sales team.
As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying potential opportunities for new business. You will be calling the prospects, offering a consultative approach before arranging for a senior salesperson to attend a face to face appointment.

- Lead generation, identifying new opportunities for potential customer accounts
- Making outbound calls to new and existing clients
- Qualifying the lead, using a consultative approach
- Setting appointments for the senior field agent to meet the prospect face to face
- Maintaining accurate and complete records of activity on the CRM system
- Managing a sales pipeline
- Completing administrative duties as required
- At least 6 months experience within a telesales / business development / account manager / telemarketing / customer service / telephone based role is essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Competitive and goal oriented
- Self motivated with the ability to work well within a team
- Strong computer skills
- Up to £23,000 basic salary
