    BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

    LEEDS

    £20,000 + COMMISSION STRUCTURE (REALISTIC £30k EARNINGS YEAR 1)

    **BUSINESS TRIPS TO LOCATIONS SUCH AS NEW YORK AND AMSTERDAM EXPECTED**

    We are looking for a confident, experienced phone-based seller looking to progress their sales career and increase their earnings to join a thriving events company in Leeds.

    This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a growing company with excellent opportunities for personal development, progression and high earnings!

    The role also offers the opportunity to attend international events in locations such as New York and Amsterdam!

    You will be responsible for contacting potential clients and developing business over the phone. This role allows you to take control of the full sales cycle and nurture deals from start to finish. You will also be responsible for all administrative tasks relating to sales, so a good eye for detail is essential!

    On offer is a basic salary of up to £20,000, plus a competitive commission package with a year 1 OTE of £30,000.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Creating sales opportunities through proactive phone prospecting and pitching
    • Building relationships and networking to develop strong sales pipeline
    • Developing rapport with all clients to maximise repeat business
    • Following up on previous conversations to gain feedback and overcome objections
    • Closing sales to meet and exceed set sales targets
    • Learn to confidently describe and explain the USPs of the company service
    • Help to build brand awareness through proactive marketing and networking
    • Regularly maintain CRM and provide necessary sales reports

    REQUIREMENTS:

    This role is ideally suited to a confident, results-driven individual with at least 12 months of telephone sales experience. The following attributes are also highly desirable:

    • Experience of working in high volume phone-based sales roles
    • Excellent record of achieving sales targets and KPIs
    • Fantastic client relationship building skills
    • Genuine drive and ambition to succeed in sales
